Johnny Nucell is partially based on experiences Arnold Kauffman, owner of the Lansdale, Pennsylvania, raw food café Arnold’s Way, and his one-time top chef, Jessica Thim, had at Arnold’s Way. The dynamic duo dreamed up this book to help inspire more children to enjoy fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds while learning to love themselves, fellow living beings and the environment.
